What is the best food for the brain?

There is a very famous saying that what you eat is what you become. The food that you eat drives your mind, body, and soul too. It is very important to eat healthy to have a healthy mind and heart

Avoid fast food

Your diet plays a major role in your brain health. Avoid eating a lot of junk foods and opt for a high-fiber, low fats diet. Avoid excessive sugar and salts in your diet. Oily and junk food are not at all good for your brain.

Eat leafy vegetables

Increase the number of vegetables in your diet. Eat leafy vegetables like spinach, cauliflower, cabbage, etc. Another green vegetable like broccoli and beans can be included in your diet by boiling them too. Try to eat more vegetables and fewer chapattis, it will help you in weight loss too.

Eat fruits

Fruits are the biggest source of nutrition for our brain. Eat fruits which have a high nutrition value like Avocado, dragon fruit, pomegranate etc. It is important that you have at least one plate of fruits with or before your lunch to stay healthy.

Nuts

Dry fruits and nuts are a very healthy source of energy. Dry fruits like almonds and walnuts are known to make your brain sharper and brighter. Almonds should however be had only after they are kept in water overnight and are peeled off in the morning. Walnuts, cashews, and raisins can however be eaten as they are.

Dark chocolate 

Dark chocolate is known to reduce stress and provide a feeling of happiness as and when it is eaten. There are various types of dark chocolate too. Though it should be had in only a proper quantity otherwise it may lead to high sugar levels too.

Drink lots of water

Most of the problems related to body can be cured just by drinking our mind normally goes through is enough toxic as it is, so it is important that we should not worry about unnecessary  things much. Give time to your mental health and talk to people whenever you have time to. This will help in improving your brain health and will also keep you happy.

So, these are the few points that you should keep in mind for your brain water. So, have at least 8 to 10 glasses of water per day, which means at least 3-liter bottles of water. It is good for your skin as well as your brain too. It keeps you hydrated and full of energy.
